Local Business Spotlight: Trailside Coffee Co.
Trailside Coffee Company is a local, woman owned coffee shop located in the heart of Downtown Springdale. Patrons can easily access this coffee shop from the bike trail – conveniently just inside the Phat Tire bike shop. Stop in, grab a coffee, enjoy their patio, and shop for any bike supplies you might need.
The owner and operator, Katie Schneider, was initially able to make her dream come true by getting funding from FORGE, a community loan funding company. Through a lot of hard work, she opened both a coffee shop and branded trailer in 2016 that are still thriving today.
The brick & mortar offers a variety of goodies: locally roasted beans, specialty lattes, cold brew, teas, Italian sodas, hot chocolate, apple cider, smoothies, homemade ice cream, homemade pastries, breakfast items like burritos & kolaches, & desserts. Katie wanted to bring all the things she loves to the menu so they also offer unique coffee shop items like thai tea, rootbeer floats, affogatos, & specialty milkshakes like the orange cream dream!
Trailside strives to support other local small businesses in their shop, including Kyya chocolate, Mountain Bird Coffee, and Black Bird Coffee. A local pastry chef bakes all of their baked goods. Their small gift shop features local crafters & makers including crystal grids by Ethereal Sun & Moon, locally made soaps by Kendra, local Honey by Lodi, and reusable paper towels by Olive Loom. Trailside Coffee Co. is proud to be a safe space and supports the LGBTQIA community.
Their brick and mortar location is located at 101 W. Johnson Ave Suite A Springdale, inside the Phat Tire Bike Shop downtown Springdale. Trailside’s coffee trailer is always on the go & travels to all kinds of events like weddings, bike events, craft shows, overlanding expos, festivals, farmers markets & more.
